Jacqueline Hedgespeth's Obituary

Mrs. Jacqueline Hedgespeth, age 71, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 7, 2026, following a brief illness. Jackie was born October 28, 1954, in Canton, Ohio to Jack and Lula Mae Clax.

She resided in Canton her entire life. Jackie was graduate of Timken Vocational High School where she earned accreditation as a licensed cosmetologist. Jackie retired from Aultman Hospital.

Jackie was married to Carlston Hedgespeth for 37 years.

A true believer in Christ, she was a former dedicated member of Gethsemane Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Tommie L. Brewer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lula M (Ginright) Clax, and one sister, Lillian Kendall.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband: Carlston Hedgespeth of the home. Daughter Ms. Stacy Edwards of Canton, Ohio, Son Brian Hedgespeth of Phoenix, Arizona, Granddaughter Nicole Edwards, Grandson Christopher "CJ" Edwards II and Great-Grandson Christopher "C3" Edwards III, all of Canton, Ohio, 4 sisters: Mrs. Mary (Richard) Morris of Clinton, Ohio, Mrs. Janet Lynn (Terrence) Johnson, Ms. Sandra Faye Fontes, and Mrs. Betty (William) Ridley, all three of Canton, a special lifelong friend, Charles "Chop" Poulson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
