Ivory Louis DuBose, 89, affectionally called "Louie", was called to eternal rest on the evening of Wednesday, June 22, 2022. She was born March 1, 1933, in Randolph, Alabama, the seventh of twelve children, to the late Thomas and Belzie Shelton.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; John, Sr., son; John, Jr. and granddaughter; Cheney Green.

Ivory leaves to cherish her sweet memory, children, Kathy DuBose and Darryl (Bernadette) DuBose; Sisters; Belzie Carson, Mattie Paschal, Algusta Worthey and Betty Joe (Daniel) Worthey.  Sisters-in-law; Mary Ann Franklin, Evelyn Bozeman and Marva Morrow; Brothers-in-law; J.C. Sims and Regal (Rose) DuBose; Grandchildren; Shawntel Hall, Julian (Daniella) Hall and Eddie Green; Great-Grandchildren; Sharisse, Sha'Rai, Bryson, Brielle, Gary, and Julian III along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends.
