Obituary

Isaiah Nasir Wesley, age 5, was called home to be with the Lord on June 18, 2021, surrounded by family and friends. He was born on December 3, 2015, to Jocelyn Wesley and Drayon Campbell. He was an active member of Hear The Word Ministries, pastor, Dr. Anicia A Clayton, since birth. He was a faithful participant of the Youth ministry. He was a 2021 graduate of Stark Metro Head Start. Isaiah was loving, strong, caring of others, outgoing, fun, energetic, and quite a character. He was curious, funny, sweet, inquisitive, considerate, joyful, and definitely a momma's boy. He always wanted to play with his brother, Jeremiah's, gaming system but also was very creative by setting up his own gaming area because he was wise beyond his years. Isaiah met no strangers and always communicated with people. He touched the heart and left a lasting impression on everyone's life he encountered. He lifted the countenance of many and was TRULY LOVED! Isaiah LOVED superheroes. He spent his days changing from one costume to another such as the Flash, Batman, Spiderman, Optimus Prime, Captain America, and Iron Man. He changed his costumes according to whomever superpowers he needed to be at that moment. He followed in his older brother, Elijah's, footsteps by dressing up as a quarterback with his towel on his hip used to wipe his hands, his shirt turned backwards representing his team, his socks pulled up to his knees, and his helmet in hand ready for the game. He loved going to the football field playing with the football players. They also shared a mutual love for shoes. Isaiah enjoyed playing Roblox and Among Us with his sister, Ramiyah. He was knowledgeable and loved playing with dinosaurs and Baby Yoda. He loved to dance, and his favorite colors were blue, red, and gold. He loved going various places with family and friends. He loved asking questions about God and praying for others. Fornite was his most favorite game and he could not understand why others did not comprehend the game at the level he did. He is preceded in death by great grandparents, Naomi and Harry Torrence; John and Erma Wesley; Willie and Mary Peterson; and Wright and Lucy Campbell; grandfathers, John Wesley and Theodore Campbell; great aunt, Mona Gray; great uncle, Phillip Torrence; and cousin, Torin Wesley. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Jocelyn Wesley, siblings, Elijah, Jeremiah, and Ramiyah Wesley of the home. His father, Drayon Campbell; grandparents, Kenneth and Lydia Boniaby and Linda Campbell; uncles, John (TaShawna) Wesley; Carlos Peterson; Randon and Marlon Campbell; aunts, Lisa Kager and Tish (Robert) Young-Norman; siblings, De'zhier Campbell, Dra'Shaun Goodman, JaQuan Goodman, Khalil Hill, Kamar Lucius, Dreoun Young, Lillian Gaines, Nehahla Campbell (Raine), Monique Bradford, Gionni Leon, and Africa Rhodes, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
