Isaac Grant, age 83, went home to be with the Lord on August 13, 2017 following an extended illness. Born January 20, 1934 to the late Elbert and Annie (Jones) Grant. Isaac was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Babcox and Wilcox, and he retired from Stark CountyEngineer. Isaac enjoyed hanging out at "The Garage" with his friends and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Isaac is preceded in death by his son Elbert Thomas Alexander and two infant sisters.  Isaac leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife Bettye (Baskin) Grant; sister, Geraldine (Charles) Taylor of Detroit, Michigan; wife's daughters, Marla Baskin-Ford (Charles), and Cyndee (Baskin) Averette; special niece, Dawn (Spurgeon) Dotson of Detroit, Michigan, nephew Arnold (Jacqueline) Taylor of Kalamazoo, Michigan; grandchildren, Courtney, Jon, and Brianna Baskin, Shawn Averette, Jr., Ray Johnson III, and Omarion Ford all of Canton, Ohio, (5) great grandchildren; brother's –in-law Larry Baskin and Eugene Evans both of Canton, Ohio; adopted son, Barry (Pat)Willis, and uncle Aaron Jones, as well as a host of other relatives and friends including Mr. Walter Hall, Mrs. Ida Beale and the Coleman family.
