Ida Norment 85, went home to be with the Lord on October 28, 2016. She was born to her parents Eddie Bivens and Louise Harris on July 22, 1931 in Memphis Tennessee. She was a faithful member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, served as the church clerk, financial secretary, chairwoman of the trustee board and also a part of the joyful seniors.

Ida is preceded in death by her husband, David C. Norment Jr.; son, Michael A. Norment; father, Eddie Bivens; mother, Louise Harris; step-father, Tommy Harris; brother, Tommy Harris Jr.; mother in-law, Hattie Taylor; and father in-law, David C. Norment Sr.

Ida leaves to forever cherish her loving memory her sons, David F. (Norniece) Norment of Las Vegas, NV, and Reggie Norment of Akron, OH; daughters, Gwendolyne Norment, Pat Norment both of Akron, OH, Sylvia "Sandi" Norment-Brooks of Cuyahoga Falls, OH and Jaquelyne Norment-Jackson of NV; brothers, Milton Harris Sr., of Huntsville, AL, Maurice Harris Sr., of Memphis TN and Donald Harris of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Sarah (Michael) Broaddus of Akron, OH and Yvonne "Bunny" Harris of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, April (Monico) Green, Katrinka Norment-Woodie (Alfonzo), Deon (Heather) Norment, David James, Thomas Manley, Darius Fikes, Danielle Norment, Jaqueline Norment-Burt, Le'Aire Norment, Angel (Maurice) King, Reginald "Regi" Norment, Arrion (Tamica) Norment, Reginald Brooks III, Ryan Brooks, Reeko Brooks, Jacquan Greene and Steven Clifford II; and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
