Obituary

Holly Ann Williams, age 49, was called home to be with the Lord on September 16, 2014. Born on November 01, 1964 to Robert Maske and Myrna (Christian) Lathion. She found a loving home with adoptive parents, Johnnie Williams and Byrdie (Brooks) Toles Williams. Known for her loving nature and creative talents, Holly found freedom expressing herself through writing. As a published poet, she was able to share her love for the Lord and others through various avenues of writing. Possessing a profound presence, Holly was loved by all who came to know her and was truly beautiful inside and out. The generosity she showed towards those she loved and cared for was unparalleled. The love for her relatives knew no bounds. Charismatic by nature, she was known as not only a role model for those who loved her, but also as a constant motivator. She encouraged others to strive for success and to never let obstacles stand in the way. Highly driven and self-motivated, she completed a bachelor degree and two masters' degrees after graduating from Massillon High School in 1983. While she excelled in higher education, she believed her greatest accomplishment was being a loving mother and took pride in being the best mother she could be. As a devoted Christian, her love for the Lord was apparent to everyone she came to meet. Holly was a true warrior for Christ and was humbled by His many blessings. Before moving to Reynoldsburg, Ohio in 2002, she was an faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church for 38 years. After settling in Reynoldsburg, she was led to a new church home and family at Seventh Avenue Missionary Baptist Church, Columbus, Ohio. She would frequently quote Isaiah 54:17 KJV, "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD." Her presence will truly be missed. She is preceded in death by mothers, Mryna (Christian) Lathion and Byrdie (Brooks) Toles Williams, fathers, Robert Maske and Johnnie Williams, sisters Barbara Toles, Tinnie (Parks) Hewitt, and Shirley (Parks) Simpson, and a childhood friend, Cheri Bradley. She is survived by her beloved daughter Triana Williams, her siblings, Theodore "Doug" Toles, Sheila (Gary) Harris, Mickey Watkins, Debbie Henry, Patricia Wells, Loretta Parks, Deidre Toles Adams, Amanda Sanders, Bobbie Jo Lenzy, Brian "Keith" Toles, Timothy Donar, Thomas Curtis Sr., Robin Pryor, Stephen Williams,Travis Parks, Donnie Johnson and Azure Lamar.  She is also survived by her close friends Lanece Williams, Jeana Fogle, Sharon Green, Kalva Bradley, Vanessa "Hope" Austin, Joseph L.
