Herbert L. Watson, 70, went home to be with the Lord on November 24, 2021. He was born in Aberdeen, Mississippi on November 4, 1951 to Earnest and Georgia Watson, Sr.

Mr. Watson was member of St. Paul AME Church. He was also in the Coast Guard for 5 years and in the Marine Corps for a short time. He retired from Summa in 2010 with over 42 years of service.

Herbert is preceded in death by both of his parents, Earnest and Georgia Watson, Sr.; sister, Coila Nation; grandson, LeMichael Stevenson; mother-in-law, Maxine Lomax; and father-in-law, Dan Jones.

He leaves to forever cherish his memory, his loving wife, Brenda Watson; sons, Mike Jones and Ronald Dion Thompson (Wassi); brothers, Earnest Watson, Jr. (Daphine), Terry Watson (Josephine), Sid Watson, Milo Watson and Marvin Watson (Tamica); sister, Emma Paige; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.  Condolences may be sent to 1590 Shatto Ave. Akron, OH 44313.
