Henry R. Armstrong, 73, departed this earthly life on December 10, 2018.  He was born on May 31, 1945 in Memphis, TN and had been a resident of the Akron community for a number of years.  Henry graduated from North High School and was retired after many years of faithful service from the Akron McNeil Company.He was Preceded in death by his parents, Roosevelt and Inez Armstrong, sister; Betty Joe Fox ; brother, Willie Owens Armstrong, and sisters-in-law, Beverly Ann Armstrong and Barbara Owens.  He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Henry (Lois) Armstrong, Jr. of Georgia; daughters, Barbara Armstrong-Coleman of Florida; brothers, Lunzy (Beverly) and Leo (Shirley) Armstrong of Akron, OH; sisters, Rosemary Jones, Diane and Vera Armstrong; grandchildren, Anthony, Anisha, Angelle, Christopher Brandon and one great grandchild, Nova Renee and a host of  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Condolences may be sent to 4600 E.
