Helen L Getz Steele, age 89, of Parma, Ohio

On Sunday, March 26, 2023, God called Helen home with her family by her side. She truly earned her wings and is resting in the arms of the Lord Saviour Jesus Christ. Helen was born March 19, 1934 in Youngstown, Ohio. She was the second child of Samuel F. Getz and Margaret E. Pellin Getz. She was a 1952 graduate of North High School in Youngstown. Helen worked many years for the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center of Youngstown, retiring in 1999. She was raised and lived most her life in Youngstown, then moving to Parma, Ohio in 2016. She leaves to cherish her loving memory children; Sarah (Sally) Steele Kolousek of Parma, Ohio, Shirley Steele Stuhldreher of Parma, Ohio, Charles E. (Betsy) Steele of Liberty, Ohio, Susan M. Steele of Youngstown, Ohio, Sabrina Steele White of Youngstown, Ohio. A total of 92 grandchildren which includes her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; Samuel F. and Margaret E. Getz, and siblings; Samuel A. Getz, Margaret E. Getz Surgoine, Katherine Olive Getz Norton, Kathleen Sarah Getz Rhodes, her son, Chester C. Steele Jr., and a great granddaughter, Kamryn McClain.
