Helen Mae Barrett, 91 transitioned from earth to glory on March 27, 2018 surrounded by family. She was a 1944 graduate of Terrell High School ( Denison, Tx). She received a Bachelors of Arts degree. Helen accepted Jesus Christ as her savior at a young age, attending the Church of the Living God. She was a member of New Hope Christian Church Fellowship (Tx). Helen loved to travel and sing the praises of God. She married Louis G. Barrett, Sr. in June 1960. Helen relocated to Canton, Ohio and was a faithful member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. Helen was preceded in death by her parents Florene and David Campbell as well as her husband Louis G. Barret, SR.  She is survived by her (2) children, Hellena Hall (Sherman,Tx) and Louis (Lisa Dolak) Barrett, Jr. (Canton, Oh); (9) grandchildren, (17) great grandchildren and (9) great - great grandchildren.
