Gretchen Denise Lytle Brown Smith was born in Steubenville, Ohio on January 17, 1956to Lois V. Christian Lytle and Donald Lytle, Sr.  Gretchen passed into eternal peace on  October 5, 2016.  She was a graduated of Timken High School and was employed at the YMCA, Harter Bank and Canton Health Care.  Preceded in death by her ; grandparents , Lloyd and Margaret Christian, Elmer and Sallie Lytle; daughter, Tabrina Lynn Brown; unborn twin sons, Robert and Rodrick Smith; very close friend, John A. Bryant. She leaves to honor her precious memory her husband Robert Smith; children, LaWanda (Jimmie) Clearly, Johnetta Massalee, Jonathon (Brittany) Brown, (extended) Jacqua Burkes, RaNique Womack, Leekeeta (Allen) Cleary; grandchildren, Emanuelle Clearly, Triston, Terrion and Anya Brown, Jahviar Ray, Qashay Jiminez, Onika and Justin Hayes;  parents, Lois Lytle, Donald (Lori) Lytle; sister, Deborah (Joseph) Williams; brothers, Donald (Robbie) Lytle, Jr., Lennie (Janel) Lytle; close friend, Matthew Brown as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Gretchen touched the lives of all who came into her life, frequently opening her heart and home to those around her. She will be forever and deeply missed.
