Gregory L. Davis Sr., known to many as "Greg" was a beautiful person blessed with the heart of gold. He loved good food, family, and friends. He was born on July 31, 1957 in Akron, Ohio to Rosetta (Ulysses) Davis Sr. and passed away on December 3, 2017 after a long illness. As a child, Greg was raised to love the Lord and accepted Jesus Christ in his adult life. He was a hard worker and dedicated over 34 years of service to Morgan Adhesives (Mac Tac) from which he retired in 2014. Greg was preceded in death by his father, Ulysses Davis Sr.; brother, Ulysses Davis Jr.; and son, Gregory Davis Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory, devoted wife of 21 years, Denise (Watkins) Davis: mother, Rosetta Davis; sisters, C. Anita (Jerry) Tarrant of Atlanta, GA, Franchetta (Luther) Maxwell of Akron, Ohio and Marcia (Jimmy) Drysdale of Lorain, Ohio; daughter, Arielle Rose Davis; step-daughter, Candice (Anthony) Sams Jr. of Akron, Ohio; grandchildren, Kennedy Allen, Karter and Karson Davis, Anthonie and Ayden Sams all of Akron, Ohio; special friend, Kevin Merritt; and a host of other family and friends.
