Gregory Allen Burnett, a local barber and life-long resident of Canton, Ohio passed away unexpectedly in his home June 3, 222 at the age of 65.

Gregory was born on August 17, 1955 in Canton, Ohio. He graduated from McKinley Sr. High in 1975. Gregory was employed with Republic Steel in the late  1970's and early 1980's.  In 1986 he started his journey to become a professional barber at Akron Barber College. He completed his journey at Dudley University in 1990.

Gregory will be remembered by many as "the old school barber" of Canton for over 35 years.  His memory will go on for having a passion for playing drums for his church family at St. Marks of Canton, and restoring men and women shoes.

Gregory was preceded in death by his loving parents, Robert and Lillie Pearl Burnett; brothers, Robert Keith, Ivan Jerome Jerry; Jed Carlos, Bobby Scott, and Stacy Roman; granddaughter, Janee Burnett.

He leaves his (2) daughters, Charmaine (Anthony) Goodman and Lisa (Derrick) Burnett; (4) grandchildren, Sharell, DaSean, Antonia, and Nicole all of Canton; (3) sisters, Bonnie Russell, Shelly Ryal, Bobbie Burnett all of Canton, Ohio.
