Gregory Timothy Allison, 28 was born in Canton, OH on October 7, 1995. He departed this life on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.
Gregory attended McKinley Sr. and graduated from Canton South High School and attended Stark State University and previously worked at Ironrock. Gregory attended and was baptized at Jerusalem Missionary Church at an early age and continued the rest of his life loving the Lord!
Gregory excelled both in the classroom and on the basketball court . Fiercely loyal and extremely competitive, Gregory loved the game of basketball and camaraderie amongst his teammates and many of them became his lifelong friends. He also enjoyed playing AAU basketball.
Greg joined the school debate team and took third place in statewide speech and debate competition.. Greg was an avid listener of music, loved reading , collecting sneakers and buying and selling automobiles. But the thing he treasured and valued most was the happy moments and times he spent with his lovely and beautiful daughter Layla whom he affectionately called "Blue".
Whether it was cuddling up to watch her favorite movie Mulan, taking her to the park to play, or helping with homework, he just wanted to show Blue how much he loved and cared.
Cherishing him forever are his daughter, Layla Lucas, mother, Lois Allison, father, Gregory (Sharon) Allison, sister, Alyssa (Tevin) Burnett, nephews, Avant, Tevin and Teron.
Maternal grandmother, Priscilla (Clarence) Bolden, special cousin, Cherie Allison and Maurice Donahoo Jr, special friends, Jarred Smith, Terran Burns, and many more loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.He was preceded in death by his grandparents John T and Olivia L V Allison.
While he departed young Gregory's smile, laugh kindness,and loving spirit will always be etched in the hearts and minds of those who were close to him. "
