"Gracie"as she was loving called by family and friends touched many lives whether with her affectionate smile, blunt opinions or "say whatever" attitude. Grace was educated through the Akron Public Schools Systems; last working at Hickory Ridge Nursing Home.

Grace was proceeded in death by her parents, grandparents Grace and Omar Alexander, and Ben and Annie Sommerville; sister, Linda Carroll, brother and sister-in-law Thomas and Linda Sommerville

Grace is survived by her sons Omar and Malvin McCorvey, Harold Wright; daughter Danielle (Jolvon) Osby; sisters Carol (Cornie) McMillian, Gloria (Tommie) Stone, Deborah Kaiser, Pamela Sommerville, Karen (Anthony) Blackwell, Brothers James McCorvey and Malvin Sommerville Jr. Eighteen grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Longtime special friends James, Baby Curtis and Deedee.
