Gloria Jean Terry, a devoted Jehovah's Witness, mother, wife, sister, and friend to countless many, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024, at the age of 75. She was born to Tellis and Clara Hall on September 4, 1948, in Canton, Ohio. She graduated from McKiney Senior High School in 1967 and shortly thereafter met Freddie Terry. They were married in 1968 and had two children, Michele and Timothy Terry. Gloria spent much time at the Canton-North Congregation Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and was instrumental in instilling timeless, Biblical values in everyone she talked to. After retiring from the Canton City School District as an assistant kindergarten teacher, she enjoyed spending time in the door-to-door ministry, helping others to come to know about her God Jehovah and the resurrection hope. Her hobbies included cleaning and more cleaning, traveling with her family, and meeting her fellow brothers and sisters from various countries. Gloria is survived by her husband of 55 years, Freddie R. Terry, daughter Michele A. Jones of Las Vegas, NV, son Timothy M. Terry of Canton, OH, brother Mark A. Hall, of Canton, OH; along with many other cherished family members and friends.
