Gloria Peal Dancy made her transition on April 10, 2024. She was born on July 8, 1941, to William and Mildred Dancy. Gloria was born and raised in Wadsworth, Ohio where she also attended school. After high school, she worked as a housekeeper for many years.

Gloria was an outspoken woman and would always let you know how she felt about something or what was on her mind. She loved her family dearly and she always kept pictures of everyone from when they were babies until their adult years. You could call her a picture Conosur; and you had to keep your eye on the pictures that you shared with her because she would forget to hand them back. She loved to go to bingo and playing the slots, but nothing could top the time she loved to spend with her great grandsons. While relaxing she enjoyed watching cowboy shows on the television.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Dancy; father, William Dancy; sister, Leona Wise Dancy and Margaret (Howard) Dancy; brothers, Charles Dancy and James Dancy.

She leaves to cherish her memory, son, William (Karla) Dancy; stepson, Curtis McCraney; granddaughters, Tonya Dancy and Shatica Wilkes; grandsons, Billy Dee Williams and Latroy Graham; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
