Obituary

Glen "Ducy" J.B. Sheffield was born on February 28, 1985 and transitioned from earth to his Heavenly home on July 24, 2021.

He was baptized at an early age. Ducy attended Akron Public Schools and later obtained his G.E.D.  He was the most caring, lovable person.  Ducy literally loved everything,  including football, detailing cars, dogs, eating and most importantly lawn care (Don't Mess Up His Grass!).  He was a jack of all trades and the master of some.  He loved family, he deeply had love for children and most of all he loved his mother to and beyond death.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary and Collie C. Brooks, Josephine Hatcher and Jessie Campbell; uncles, Vackers Lee Marsh; aunts, Glynis Brooks and Barbara Ann Brown; cousins, Darshon Marsh and Darren "DJ" Saalam.

Ducy leaves to cherish his loving memory: his parents, Shenequa Sheffield-Bickley, Glenn Campbell, and Anthony Garr; sons, Cornelius, Gihad and Glenn Jr.; daughters, Ny'Jah and Gionna; brothers, Antwoine (Syrita) Sheffield, Quincy Terry, Michael (Lumarie) Bickley Jr., Demetrius Salaam, and Trevor Davis; sisters, Aneese Sheffield, LaTonya (Travis) West, Dominique Nolen, Daisha Lidge, Myka Bickley; uncles, Shon Marsh, Ricky Campbell, Collie C. Brooks Jr., and Chauncey Brooks; aunts, Towanda (Allen) Thomas, Melba Moore, Cassandra Eutsey, Colleen and Dawn Brooks; great uncles, Charles, Dancy, and Lester (Charlie Carol) Sheffield; great aunt, Brenda (Ronald) Mahone; nephews, Jalen, Nasir, Syncere, Markis, Quincy Jr., Michael III, Michal, Messiah, Lumari and Nico; nieces, Jaila, Nyara, Tanea, Tykea, Kiera, Nevaeh, and Niabella.  Ducy has a long list of special cousins and friends.  He shared a special bond with his son Gihad's grandmother, Wynetta Williams.
