Geraldine Freeman- Lee was 76 years old residing in Canton, Ohio at the time she transitioned from her earthly body to her spiritual being, accepting her crown and gaining her wings at 3:45 am on Friday,  June 22, 2018. Born Geraldine Harris on November the 10, 1941 in Merriweather County Gay, Georgia to the late Eugene and Mattie Lou Gates Harris.  Geraldine spent most of her time nurturing her   children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Geraldine's presence was felt wherever she appeared. Her willing and humble spirit was infectious as she enjoyed serving the need of whomever she encountered. She was extremely talented enjoyed singing, dancing, traveling, and shopping. Geraldine was a graduate of McKinley Sr. High School. She spent many years employed at  Timken Roller Bearing, Massillon State Hospital, Rhoden Funeral home and thereafter; retired from Northfield State Hospital.  S he worked tirelessly to provide the very best for her family; nonetheless she was a provider for whomever she came in contact with. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband and father of children, Robert Freeman; late husband, Phillip Lee; siblings, Henry Harris, Mary Lou Harris, Willie Jean Harris, Mattie Lou Johnson, Robert "Popcorn" Harris, Marvin Harris, Bennie Majors,   Willie Roy Harris and Danny Harris. Geraldine leaves to cherish her precious memory ( 7) children, Juilene Harris, Kyrk (Robin) Freeman, Terry (Sonya) Freeman, William Freeman, Clarence Freeman, Katrina (Bill) Sorrells and Martina (Sylvester) Stephens; (22) grandchildren; (44) great grandchildren. (1) great- great grandchildren; (4) sisters,  EmmaLou Anthony; Bessie Osteen, Lorena Bryant and Terri Jean Sheppard.
