Gerald Frank Burkett, Jr., 58, transitioned home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. He was born in Akron, Ohio on December 3, 1959 to his parents, Gerald Frank Burkett Sr. and Bernice Burkett. He was a member of New Millennium Baptist Church. Gerald is preceded in death by his mother, Bernice Burkett. Gerald leaves to forever cherish his loving memory his wife, Donna Burkett; father, Gerald Frank Burkett Sr.; sons, Gerreil Burkett, Gerald Frank Barham, Willie and Thomas Brantley; daughters, Gerreilyn Burkett and Rochelle Brantley; brothers, Brian (Jewell) and Joshua Burkett; sister, Kathy Cook; twelve grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other loving relatives and friends.
