Gerald Bess passed away on October 4, 2022, at Roselane Rehabilitation Center. Gerald was born on October 4, 1952 in Canton, OH.  He attended McKinley High School, then spent several years in the navy during the Vietnam War.  He worked for the Diebold company after being honorably discharged.  Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Ernestine Bess, both of Canton, Ohio.  He leaves to cherish his memory, his three children: Shaquil Bess, Gerald and Zeth Kell; his brothers, and sister, Willie Bess and Lawrencetta Dixson of Little Rock, Arkansas and Eric Bess, Sr., of Canton Ohio; along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
