Fredinand "Freddie" Arthur Jr.  A devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, nephew, and our good friend, departed this life after a short illness on June 27, 2019 in Massillon, Ohio.

Freddie was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Fredinand Arthur Sr. on February 22, 1933 in St. Lucias, Barbados.  In Barbados received his early education along with his carpenter and automotive mechanic apprenticeship .  He moved to Brooklyn, NY in the 60's where he worked as a carpenter and auto mechanic until he retired in 2002.

Freddie was a very proud and dignified, out spoken person. He always spoke his mind, and his feelings. He was loved by everyone. He lived at 113 Jefferson Ave in Brooklyn, NY from 1988 until December 28, 2018 until moving to Massillon, OH. Freddie met Mattie Floyd in 1988 and from then their relationship began. They married in 1988 and  remained together until his passing. There were no children from this union but Freddie  had children from previous relationships from the West Indies Islands.

He leaves to mourn his passing a devoted wife; Mattie; (2) sons, Andre and Alex Arthur; (1) daughter, Shirley Arthur; (1) brother, Maurice Arthur; (5) sisters,  Veronica Arthur, Mary Arthur, Teresa Arthur,   Cecelia Arthur, and Vernica Arthur and countless numbers of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. Freddie will be deeply missed.
