Frankie Neal was born June 5, 1969. He was raised by his great grandmother Annie Halsel. He was called home July 8, 2025 at his residence in Akron, Ohio. He graduated from East High School. He was a die-hard Steelers fan. He always made watching the game interesting.
Frankie was a man of many talents and had an impeccable work ethic. He worked multiple jobs simultaneously. He was a dedicated employee of Glendale Cemetery for 17 years, Mt. Peace Cemetery for 14 years, Luigi's Restaurant for 9 years, and Texas Roadhouse for 7 years. Not only was Frankie a hard worker, but he was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He was a peaceful man, who always had a kind word for anyone he encountered. Frankie and LaWanda traveled frequently and loved spending time with their children and grandchildren. His family was the most important thing to him, and he would do anything for them. Frankie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Preceded in death by his great grandmother, Annie Halsel; grandmother, Mary Kate Neal; grandfather, Lee John Fitch; father-in-law, Laymon Carter Sr.; children, Omar and Robsheata; granddaughter, Millian.
He leaves to cherish his memory the love of his life, his loving and devoted wife, LaWanda Neal; mother, Edna Neal; daughters, Tashiana Murray, Mataya, Tasheata, JaWanda; sons, Lafayette, Lafeal (Jazzmine), Robert (Angelique); grandchildren, Laelynn, Jessie a.k.a. Lola, Jae'mier, JaiVaun, Ja'cier, Jacauri'ay, Lar'riana, Lyric, Life, LaCartier, Ce'lebrity, La'Naeya, Jasmeir, Tylen, Jay'Ontae, Jay'Anna, James, Javeion, Lawand, LaWanda, grandchildren whom he raised, Nicholas, Ja'Niya, Nick'Kiya, Nataya; godson, Aden; siblings, LaVonda Neal, Crystal Night; brother, Robert Neal; uncles, Denny (Crystal) Neal, Clifton (Sandy) Neal; aunt, Sherry Neal; favorite cousins, David Smith and Dougie Neal; special nephew, Darrell Neal; special niece, DiaLexis; brothers-in-law, Darrick Carter, Laymon Carter; sisters-in-law, Kimberly Carter, Dionne (Gary) Carter, Amber (Desmond) Watkins; best friends, Mark Wooden and Tracy Moore.
