Florence Louise (Ingol) Keys, a long-time resident of the Barberton community, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024, at the age of 80. Born in Barberton, Ohio, to the late Laura (Ingol) Cloud and Louis Bartee, she was one of a very large family. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, James Keys Sr, and a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, and if you knew her, she was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. That desire to help others influenced her lifelong career as a nurse's assistant at Shady Rest, Barberton Citizens Hospital, and ManorCare Health Services, where she retired after 46+ years of service.

She had an insatiable passion for cooking and would often spend hours in the kitchen preparing meals for her family and friends. Her delicious recipes will forever be cherished by those who had the pleasure of enjoying them. When she wasn't taking care of her family, you could catch her playing BINGO at the bingo hall or playing her lottery.

Florence was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sam and Mary Bartee & Frank and Amanda Ingol; In-Laws, C.R and Bernice Keys; Sisters, Evelyn Richardson, Gloria Young, Dorothy, Mary, and Clara-Stein Keys; Brothers, Lewis John Ingol, Lonnie, Willie, and Arthur Keys; Daughters, Delores Ingol and Dawn Keys; Grandchildren, Tasha Ingol, Jermaine Johnson; and many others.

She leaves to cherish her memory sons, James, Gary, and Anthony (Pam) Keys; daughters, Patricia Johnson and Ashley Keys; Sister, Charlene Keys; Brother, Fred Cloud; Grandchildren, Tobie (Sonja) and Tyrone Ingol, Brittany and Antoine Johnson, Jasmine, Jimmy, Anthony and Lawrence Keys, Rico Brandon, Brian and Briaisa Dunem, Gary Keys, Jr., Sarah Martin, Jamesha Richardson, Amir Wilson, Roddrick Coackley, Lamar Chambers and Tatianna Schumacher; 23 great-grandchildren; special cousin, Gerald Palmer; special friends, Anne Thompson, Kelly Dowdell, Bobby Askew, Tania Weber and Ola Garnett; and a host of other relatives and friends that she loved deeply.
