Felix Rushin Jr was a lifetime resident of Akron Ohio.  Felix was a hard-working man, who cared for his wife, his kids, and helped raise his siblings. In 1972, at the age of 18, he started his career with LTV Steel in Canton Ohio and remained there for more than 20 years. In 1994 he excepted a position at Ruscoe Company in Akron Ohio in which he recently retired.

Felix is preceded in death by his mother and father Doretta Kirksey and Felix Rushin Sr.: his mother and father- in- law Rose and James Knight, aunts, Leona Rall, Verdale Hines, Inez Ray, Minnie Rall and Delores Watson: cousin, James Hank Anderson.

Felix leaves to forever cherish his loving memory, wife, Glenis Rushin, daughter, Felisha Rushin, stepson Philip Rushin, stepdaughters, Glenanda and Thaysa, and grandson, Darnell Pryor Jr.  Brothers, Roosevelt Rushin, William (Cheryl) Kirksey, James E. (Leah) Kirksey, Theodore Kirksey (Deb), David (Kim)Kirksey, William (Cecelia)Harris, sisters, Deborah (Reginald)Heath, and Katherine (Jerry)Kirksey and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and a host of devoted friends and family.
