Evelyn (Jackson) Volry was the first born of eleven children of the late    Robert and Johnnie Mae Jackson of Talladega, Alabama, January 19, 1929. She moved to Canton at an early age where she met and married Grifton Destiny Volry on January 22, 1960. She was a faithful member of Bethel CME Church, where she was a stewardess and choir member. She had a great love for her family and would do anything to encourage and support her family in their time of need. Her passion for children led to her to provide daycare services to children of family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grifton D. Volry; siblings, Robert, Jr., Richard, James, Tony Jackson and her beloved sister Jennie Albright. She leaves to cherish her memory; daughter, Janice (Long) Howard; grandchildren, William "Destiney" (Shatara) Long, and Zachary Long; great grandchildren, Ocean, William, Jr., Warren, Wyatt, and Zachary, Jr. all of Atlanta, Georgia; siblings, Hazel Jackson, Smith "Buster" Jackson, Clarence Jackson, Johnny Jackson, and Barbara Davis all of Canton, Ohio, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
