Our beloved angel Evangelist Carlene McAlpine, transitioned home to be with the Lord on June 26, 2017 at the age of 69. She was born in Akron, Ohio on February 10, 1948 to Carl Green and Odessa Hopkins. She is a member of Kingdom Bible Mission Baptist Church for 3 years and Greater Grace Temple in Detroit for 20 years. She was also the director of the women's ministry. Carlene is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel McAlpine; parents, Carl Green and Odessa Hopkins. Carlene leaves to forever cherish her loving memory her sons, James and Robert Smith; daughter, Tracey Greenlee of Cincinnati; sisters, Rev. Shirley (Rev. Jefferson) Swain, Linda (Robert) Matthews, and Sheila (Tommy) Blytlewood; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
