Evangelist Melinda Andrews was born on August 12,1946 in Canton, Ohio. She passed away on December 30, 2025. She was born to the late Bessie (Jackson) & Jim Conner. Melinda grew up and attended school in Canton, Ohio. After high school, she entered the workforce and held various positions. Melinda accepted the Lord into her life in 1973. She was baptized in Jesus' name and received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost at Greater Bethel Apostolic Church under the leadership of Pastor Ralph M. Byrd. She later acknowledged her calling and entered the ministry with eagerness. She loved the Lord and was a loyal and devoted laborer. Her devotion enabled her to have a local radio ministry at one time. She also worked with prison ministry. She always enjoyed going to church and being involved in various church functions and special events until her passing. From a young age, Melinda enjoyed singing and cooking, and she did both very well. She was preceded in death by her parents, by siblings Israel Brown, Raymond Brown, Ira Brown Risby, Vivian Brown Jenkins, Chester Brown, Benny Conner, Marion Conner, Leon Conner, and her beloved son Tito Conner. She leaves to cherish her memory, sons Troy Lowe, Jerry Lowe; One brother James (Angelique) Conner of Virginia, two sisters Evelyn (Henry) Henderson of Canton, Oh, and Gwendolyn Ladson of Iowa, sister-in-laws Emma Conner, Gloria Brown, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
