Eva M. McCall, 86, passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2026. Born on February 15, 1940, to Blair Palmer and Mary Ingol, she was a lifetime resident of Barberton, Ohio.

Eva was a loving person with a quiet spirit. She allowed people to be who they are with no judgement, and she loved them unconditionally.

Eva attended Barberton City Schools and excelled in her studies. Throughout the years Eva was a dedicated employee wherever she worked and had a passion for whatever she put her hands to, she had a reputation for going above and beyond and her strong work ethic carried her to retirement, where she could enjoy her pension benefits and her family.

Eva loved fishing, going to bingo, going to the beach, reading, taking care of her son, mother and grandchildren in retirement. She had a great sense of humor and was a joy to be around.

Eva was preceded in death by her parents Blair and Mary Palmer; brothers, Edward, Blair Jr, Robert, Henry, Gerrone, and Joe; sisters, Martha and Ernestine.

Eva was a loving and devoted wife. She is survived by her husband Estell, cherished children Elmore III, Gregory, Marian, Connie, Bryan, Tracy; sister, Ethel (Larry) Green and brother, Duane Palmer. She also leaves to cherish her memory her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Eva will be deeply missed.
