Obituary

Today we are here to celebrate the life of Eunice Josephine (Horn) Baker known to many as Ms. Green and the QUEEN of all things to her family.  Born on June 19, 1929 to the late Ella R. Horn and Roosevelt Hamilton in Marion Alabama. Eunice was blessed to have lived a long prosperous life she was a woman of strength and integrity. Strong willed and determined, she had no problem telling it like is was. A loving caring woman that opened her door to many and had no problem putting you in your place if you wronged her. Her passion in life was her family, including her precious dogs; Cookie, Coco, Candy and Midnight. A Professional Chef in her own right, she enjoyed cooking for some of Cleveland's finest and anyone who wanted a good meal. Employed by Molly Stark Hospital for many years and later on retiring from Howard Johnson, she instilled the importance of hard work into her family. In her retirement years, gardening and tending to her fish as well as generously bestowing her wisdom on her grandchildren and anyone else that would lend an open ear is how she filled her days.  The Good Lord allowed her the joy of spending her 86th birthday with her family before grantting her final wish and taking her into His loving arms on June 23rd after she repeatedly told him she was "TIRED." Now she is finally happy with her loved ones in the after life, her 2 beloved sons Larry Fitzgerald Jr. and James Preston (Bubba) Brown as well as four of her five husbands Larry Fitzgerald Sr., Lee Myrick, James Preston Sr., and Esther (Coffee) Baker and one grandson Tyrone Brown.  Today is NOT a day to mourn the death of a great woman but a day to celebrate the life of a magnificent woman that God allowed to walk on this earth and share her love, wisdom, friendship and free spirit with everyone that had a chance to meet her.  Leaving to forever cherish her memory is her two loving daughters, Ella Louise (Green) Evans, Canton, OH( Lawerance Evans Jr. (d)) and Margaret Brown, Lima, OH, ;one son Anthony "Tony"  (Peggy) Green, Cleveland, OH; daughter in-law Barbra Jean Green (Bubba), Las Vegas, Nevada, ;5 grandchildren, Anthony Green Jr., Michael Brown, Canada Green, CherriElla Evans, LaTonya Evans.; 6 great grand children, Demetrius, DeJhon, Treasure, Demond, Heaven, Lazell as well as 3 adorable great-great grand. She also leaves to celebrate a host of cousin and friends. Extending a special thanks to cousin, John L. Jones and friends, Gail Waters and Sam Clinkscales for being such a great help to the family.
