Esther (Ethel) Lee Wilson passed away on June 7th, 2022 at her home in Akron, Ohio. She was born in Temple, Texas to Robert Shores II and Poshia Shores on April 29th, 1952. Ethel was the youngest of 7 siblings. She was the wife of Johnnie Wilson and they shared more than 50 years of marriage. She was the mother of Kevin and LaConda Wilson.

Esther enjoyed shopping, watching Western shows and her Soap Opera shows but her greatest love was her family and her love of God. She was an exceptional wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin. She cared deeply for her family. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She always ensured that every person that crossed her threshold was safe, healthy and happy.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert Shores II, mother Poshia Shores, her brothers Lawrence Shores, Robert Shores III, Raymond Shores, Otis Shores and her sister Bertha Shores. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Johnnie Wilson, her two children, Kevin Wilson and LaConda Wilson, her sister, Lillie Shores, grandchildren, Trevon Bayless, Virgil Williams Jr., Kayla Wilson, Kianna Wilson, Ty'Ren Williams, many great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
