Estell McCall Sr., age 81, went to be with the Lord on July 12, 2026. He was born January 19, 1945, in Meridian, Mississippi.

Estell moved to Akron, Ohio at a young age. He was always known for putting in hard work and his full effort into whatever he was working on. Estell worked as a laborer and in construction for over 20 years. He loved to fish, spend time with his family, and be a helping hand and a blessing to others. "Blessing someone else is how you stay blessed", is what he would say.

Estell was married to his beautiful wife, the late Eva McCall, who surely welcomed him home with love and open arms. He and his wife were God fearing, hardworking people, that loved the Lord. They attended Liberty Tabernacle Church under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Phillip Risby.

He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Estell McCall Jr. and Preston Brazil; daughters, Shawn Wright and Von Bolar; grandchildren, Paedyn Brazil, Kevin Wright, Adam Bolar, Davauhn Bolar, and Brianna Bolar; sister, Lily Hunt; nephews, Fred McCall and Lamonte McCall; bonus children, Connie Dowdell, Tracy Wilson, Marian Dowdell, Elmore Dowdell III, Gregory Dowdell, and Bryan Dowdell, as well as a host of other relatives and friends. 

He may be gone in the flesh, but his name and legacy will live forever.
