Essie Mae Moore was born on September 29, 1913 to the late Mr. Tilman and Eliza (Babe) Fuller. She was called home to be with the Lord on April 13, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
At an early age, Essie dedicated her life to Christ while living in Georgia. She became an active member of Shiloh Baptist Church, of Canton, Ohio. It was there that she received an important milestone in her faith journey receiving recognition for over 50 years of service. She enjoyed Quilting, Crocheting, being with family and serving Christ.
Essie was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and aunt. A loving wife to Elijah Moore for 69 years in marriage. As the matriarch of the family, Essie was known for her loving personality and caring of others.
In addition to her parents, Essie was preceded in death by her husband, Elijah Moore; Five Children, two Grand-Children, and thirteen siblings.
Essie leaves to cherish her legacy her devoted daughter, Iris Tisdoll of Lake Worth, Fl. Grand Children Gerald (Patricia) Kimble of Jamestown, NJ, Jacqueline Harris, Wynette (Robert) Cherry, Deborah Skinner All of Columbia, SC, Larry Kimble of Canton, Ohio, Vanessa (Norman) Roussel of Orlando, Fl., Curtis (Sven Seger) Balom of Seattle, WA.
6 Great Grands, 11 Great Great-Grands and a Host of Amazing, and Loving Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
