Essie was a devoted Christian and a woman of God. She enjoyed cooking, church and was infamous for planting her flowers. She loved to spend time with friends and her all time favorite past time was playing bingo. In addition to her parents and her siblings, Essie reunited with her loving husband J.P. Bryant on February 6, 2017 as well as her children Judyann and James P. Bryant and (1) granddaughter Jameica Sy. She leaves to cherish her precious memory (1)grandson, James Pope; (1) granddaughter, Shreese Pope, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, one special niece, Anne L. Faniel-Kelly of Tacoma, Washington; nephew, Jason of Jacksonville, Florida; special godson Ya Ya Sy; special friends, Lois Toles, and Claudia Knepshield:and her special friends at Meadow Wind Nursing Home.
