Ervin Hill Odom Jr. was born in Akron, Ohio on May 22,1950, to the proud parents of Ervin Hill Odom and Annie Howell (Step-Dad Charles Howell).

Ervin was a graduate of South High School graduating in 1969.  He was also a proud Marine and Akron Policeman/Detective that loved serving his community. Ervin was loved by many that he encountered during his Police days.  He retired in June 2011. He loved spending time with his wife Anginette, children and grandkids whom he loved dearly.

Ervin loved to go to the gun range, lifting weights, listening to music mostly Too Short, and playing the lottery.  He was loved by all the neighborhood kids, and he will truly be missed.

Ervin is preceded in death by his parents Ervin Hill Odom, Annie Howell and stepfather Charles Howell; sisters, Theresa Howell and Yvonne Howell.

He leaves to mourn his wife, Anginette Odom; son, Ervin Odom III (Akezia); daughters, Eyrica Odom (Lewis), Chonita Dees (Samuel), and Brandy Noel (Jermaine); brother, Charles Howell (Tonia), and sister,   Angelina Howell (Waren); grandkids, Kashmere, Ervin IV, and Eryic and a host of other grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, and nephews; special friends, Marquita and Tyrone Kirkland; special brother-in-law, LeeShawn Brown.
