Eric Wayne Boykin was born July 3, 1957 to Garfield and Susie Boykin.  After a brief illness, God called him home on March 3, 2023.  He graduated from North High School.

Eric loved to cook, barbeque and spend time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He was all about family and his sisters, but most of all he loved his music, The Ohio Players, War and most of all George Clinton and The Funkadelics, he was Mr. P-Funk!  He loved life as he knew it and never met a stranger.

Eric was proceeded in death by his parents, Garfield and Susie Boykin.  He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Eric Dion (Takita), Bussey and Garfield Turner, daughters, Hatrice Gaitor and Sharon Williams, sisters, Diane (Clifford) Howard, Shirley Boykin, Patty (Robert) Williams and Sandra (Gary) Reynolds, grandchildren, Eric (Tramae), Heaven, KyAire, Xavier, Nevaeh, Zion, Aire and Nova, great-grandchildren, Prince, Rayne, RiLeigh, special friend, Greg Cummings and a host of other relatives, friends and neighbors at Sutliff Apartment Complex.
