Obituary

She was born on October 2, 1931, in Lumber City, Georgia to Grant and Emma Conway. She was raised by her village parents, MC Guyton "Big Daddy" and Clara Guyton "Big Ma" in Macon, Georgia. She was blessed with a long life partner Henry Cook, father of her children, and later married Wallace Riddle. Emma worked as a meat cutter/butcher. She volunteered as a resident president leader. Emma lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures of playing bingo, fishing and enjoying her grandchildren and played a "mean" hand of deuces wild and 5 card stud Poker! She was kind to those in need and accepted the Lord as her personal savior years earlier.

She is preceded in death by her father Grant Conway and Mother Emma Howard-Conway, and village parents, MC and Clara Guyton; brothers, Benny, Arthur, and Albert Conway; sisters, Addie Mae and Nora Bell-Conway; son, Charles Cook; daughter, Kimberly Cook; daughter-in-law, Barbara Guyton; and grandson, Frank Wayne Ross.

She is survived by her sons, James Guyton of Macon, GA, Lorenzo (Alicia) Cook of Cleveland, OH, and Sylvester (Andrea) Cook of Cleveland, OH; daughters, Cynthia Brooks of Macon, GA, Delores (Darnell) Appling of Lansing, MI, and Michelle (Freddie) Simmons of Pickerington, OH; step children, Henry Jr. and Tyrone Cook and Brenda and Pam Phillips all of Cleveland, Ohio; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and other family and friends.
