Elonia Youngblood, age 97, passed away July 31, 2015 at Astoria Skilled Nursing Home. She was born on June 6, 1918 in Columbus, Mississippi. She was a retired beautician, her business was called Lonnie's House of Glamour. She also was a Eastern Star. She loved fishing, cooking, and being with her family. She also was a member of the Cheerful Twilight Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband James "J.C. Youngblood, her parents, five brothers, two sisters and a loving sister Sarah Ann Dover. She leaves to cherish her memory; niece, Linda Walker who was like a daughter to her; three step-grandchildren, Donzetta Youngblood, Ricard Youngblood both of Canton, Ohio, Marvin Youngblood of Columbus, Ohio; three nieces, Deloris (Ricky) Meniefield, Earnestine Reed of Canton, Ohio, Janice Ray of Chicago, Illinois; six nephews, Robert Dover, Willie (Kathy) Dover, of Canton, Ohio, Henry (Myra) Dover of Columbus, Ohio, Greg (Fran) Dover, Arnold (Debra) Dover, Jimmy (Luvenia) Dover of Chicago, Illinois and a host of great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
