Elizabeth Berkley passed away on September 27, 2021. She was born July 19, 1925 to Robert and Dolly Bugg in Washington, DC. She was a former member of Second Baptist Church and Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and New Hope Baptist Church. She was a member of Ed Davis Senior Group and was president for 18 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Berkley and 9 siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Sarita (Robert) Robinson; niece, Norma Jean Strayhand; granddaughters, Melody (Bryant) Grant and Mia (Terry) Heard Sr.; great grandchildren, Daysha Payne, Denisha Grant, BJ Grant, Brionna and Kyla Heard, and Terry Heard, Jr.; 6 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
