Eldora L. Grandison-Martinez was called Home on December 3rd, 2020.  She was born in Akron, Ohio to Mary Lee and the late Richard Grandison, Jr.  Eldora attended John R. Buchtel High School and she also attended the University of Akron before she later graduated from Brown Mackie College.

Eldora was a lifetime member of Mt. Haven Missionary Baptist Church and loved spending time with her church family.  She also loved to laugh and enjoy life with her family and friends and never missed an opportunity to celebrate a birthday with anyone she considered a friend.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Grandison Jr, and her brothers; Richard Maverick Grandison and Stanley B. Grandison. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, mother, Mary Lee Grandison; brother, Carlos O. Grandison, daughters; Eldora Nichol Grandison and Princess Maria Grandison, and son Richard M. Grandison III, grandsons; Jacob Grandison, Landon Decaul, Van Laster II, and one on the way. With a host of family and friends including her eldest nephew Seneca McGowan and her life long friend, Terrie E. Nurse.

Homegoing service will be held Thursday, December 10th, 2020, 12:00 noon at Rhoden Memorial Home, 1101 Palmetto Ave., Akron, OH 44306, where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
