May 20, 1960 – December 2, 2023
Elder Aaron Lamont Moss, Sr. the fourth and youngest child of Blanchie Nell Moss, was born May 20, 1960 in Canton, Ohio.
He completed his high school education at McKinley in the class of 1978 and studied the Word of God extensively rising to being ordained as Elder.
He enjoyed working fairly recently at Gibbs Canton City School in a grandparent program.
He served our country in the Naval forces.
It was while serving in the Navy in Florida that he met and married his Queen, Queen Thomas. Queen is the mother of their three children, Aaron Lamont Moss, Jr., Alton Lamar Moss, and Munirah Imani Moss. Additionally there are now two precious grandchildren, Tywone Lashawn Moss and Ma'layiah Ann Moss.
Elder Aaron was distinguished as a mentor, scholar, spiritual help and intercessor for and to many minister leaders and key members of the body of Christ. As a youth, he was an integral part of the Sherrick Road Church of God in Christ. For a long period of time, Elder Aaron regularly accompanied the ministry of Mother Annie L. Simon on Thursdays at a local nursing home. Spirits were lifted, lives changed. He did not take keyboard lessons, but through his playing the keyboard, the Holy Spirit was ushered into many rooms and churches and extraordinary spiritual experiences occurred.
Over the years he was involved in many churches including Deeper Life and also New Dimensions Educational Ministries under Author/Apostle Toni Pugh.
He was preceded in death by mother Blanchie Stroud Moss and siblings Patricia Moss and Mary Joyce Moss as well as niece Ranada Moss.
Leaving to mourn, but not as those who have no hope, are children/grandchildren (named above), brother, Pastor Walter Moss/ sister-in-law Darleen Moss, nieces Cheryl Moses, Shannon Moss and Mari-Alistine Moss, special cousin Judy Stroud Smith, and a host of family including nephew, cousins and close friends.. until that great rejoicing day!!!
