Edward G. Buchanan, 77 of Lithiona, GA passed away on August 22, 2022 after a lengthy illness. Eddie was born in Massillon, Ohio to the late Havey and Pauline Buchanan.

He worked for many years at Republic Steel in Massillon, Ohio.  Eddie is known for his sense of humor, his love for all things science fiction, jazz music, and his love for basketball.

Eddie is survived by his wife Patsy Buchanan, his daughter Shetoria Buchanan, sons Eddie (MaLisa) Buchanan, Jamie Daniels, Billy Buchanan, Tramondae Buchanan, Christopher Buchanan and Lynn Thompson. His loving brother Willie (Loretta) Buchanan whom a special thank you goes to for all the extra love and care given to Eddie.

He was preceded in death by his parents Havey and Pauline Buchanan, brother Harvey Buchanan, sister Alma (Robert) Smedly, and son Toriano Buchanan. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other special family members and friends.
