Edroy Mccormick Iii's Obituary

Edroy McCormick III, affectionately known as "Buddy" was born on September 22, 1988 to Sheila Richardson and Edroy McCormick Jr. Buddy lived in Akron all of his life until recently where he located to Phoenix, Arizona. He attended Buchtel High School where he graduated in 2007. Buddy accepted Jesus Christ at an early age at New Hope Baptist Church. Buddy later met Lashaunda Bell and had one child, Royaire McCormick better known as "Little Buddy."

Buddy worked at different factories and also did lawncare and          landscaping. Buddy played football and basketball for Buchtel High School and he also was involved in wrestling and shot put at Perkins Middle School. Buddy was voted class clown his senior year. He was a true character. Buddy played football for West Pee and The North West Hawks. He also played baseball with the Hoyas and loved traveling with AAU Basketball with the Shooting Stars and Upstrong. Buddy was very athletic and received many awards.

Buddy loved visiting with family and friends and he also loved going to amusement parks with family. He enjoyed buying things for children as he was a very loving person. He had a heart of gold. He loved to protect his family and friends. He loved playing cards and he was always the life of the party.  Buddy  would call his mom's name maybe 3 to 4 times in a row and would want          absolutely nothing. He was for sure a spoiled, momma's boy.  If you picked him up for a ride he would take you around the world.
