Edna Lee (Frazier) Sanders was born June 17, 1927 in Tennille, Alabama to the late John Frank and Hattie (Recorse) Frazier. She transitioned from the earthly to heavenly on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center. Edna moved to Canton, Ohio 1957 and joined Bethel CME Church she was a faithful member of the Senior Choir as well as the Women's Chorus. Edna was very supportive of her family, she helped raise her nieces and nephews and many of her grand and grandchildren. Edna's home was always an open door for encouragement. She would help any and everyone who needed a place to stay.  Edna was preceded in death by her husband William Sanders; brothers, Charlie Frazier, Alto Frazier, Merthy Frazier, Mitchell   Frazier, Lezone Frazier; sisters, Delia Ann Turner, Novella Donald, three grand- children and two great-grandchildren. Edna leaves to cherish her memory to her loving and devoted daughter Annie (Charles) Gates; sons, (twins) James & John Johnson of Canton, Ohio, Arthur Johnson of Columbus, Ohio, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and other friends.
