Edna Louise Buck-Brantley went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 21, 2022. Edna was born on August 13, 1948 and had been a   lifelong resident of Akron, Ohio. She went to Thornton Jr. High and South High Schools. She worked at Summa Health Systems (Akron City) Environmental Department.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Brantley; parents, Earl Buck, Sr. and Theresa Sneed-Buck, Sr.; brother, Earl Buck, Jr. (Pete);  sister, Valerie Buck; and nephew, Derrick Buck.

Edna is survived by her loving children, Mrs. Carla Buck-Thompson, Mr. Donald (Florence) Buck, Sr. "Boogaloo" and Ashley Brantley;    brothers, Donald E. Buck (Lenora) and Frank Buck all of Akron, Ohio; grandchildren, Feiren of Columbus, Ohio, Donald Jr., Rachel, Deivion, Donna, Karolyn, Kyle, Markayne, Scholar, and Solider; great grandchildren, Mikha and Makhi both of Columbus, Ohio; special uncle and aunt, Mr. Arthur and Bernice Buck, Sr.; special friend, Mr. Tommy Fields; and a host of other family members and friends.
