Edna was born on November 17, 1959 in Montgomery, Alabama to the union of the late Sylvester and Thursa Mae Smiley.  She was the oldest of six children.  Edna gained her wings on Friday, January 3, 2020.

Edna accepted Christ at an early age.  Edna relocated to Cleveland, Ohio in the early to mid eighties.  She later became a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church in Canton, Ohio.  One of Edna's favorite things to do was to sit peacefully poolside and just put her feet in the water.

In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Mr. Terry Archer; her two gifts from GOD, her children, Andrea Smiley and Jamale Turner, both who she loved dearly; (2) beautiful grandsons, Laver and Jakodis; (2) sisters, Wendy Worksman of Georgia and Lynn Wilson of Alabama.
