Eddie took God's hand on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. Eddie Williams Sr. was born on June 9, 1927 in Milledgeville, GA to the late Ruth Ross and Croft Williams. He graduated from high school in Milledgeville, GA and joined the Army, serving six years during the Korean War. Eddie then married the love of his life, Annie Laura and moved to Ohio. Eddie loved his family and was a resident of the Akron community for over 62 years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Annie L. Williams; son, Eddie Williams Jr.; daughter, Gloria J. Edwards; and grandson William D. Edwards. He is survived by son, Willie (Margaret) Davis, Jessie (Beverley) & Joseph Ingram, and Arthur Lewis; daughter, Mary (Sam) McIntosh; sister in law, Sarah Cooper; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
