Eddie L.
Sanders
July 8, 1930 – July 31, 2024
In times of loss, we find comfort in our faith. We remember that our loved one is in the presence of our Lord, free from pain. Their journey on Earth has ended but their spirit lives on in the grace and the peace of God's eternal kingdom. Eddie Lee Sanders was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather who served honorably in the Korean War as a Stevedore and moved on to be a member of the Military Police. His memory will forever be held dear, and he will be deeply missed. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Lowell and Clara Sanders. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Sanders; brother Lowell (Dorothy) Sanders; children, Jeffrey (Stacy) Sanders, Kimberly Sanders, Arnold (Robin) Hayes; special niece Jackie Sanders; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. In his retirement Eddie's love for the Cleveland Guardians baseball team was matched only by his enthusiasm working on cars and motorcycles, hobbies that he truly loved. He was an avid Cleveland Guardians fan and was hoping for a championship this year. Whether cheering for his favorite team or working in his garage Eddie's warmth and dedication were evident in every aspect of his life. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who had the privilege of knowing and loving our father, Eddie Sanders. Your thoughts and prayers during this challenging period for our family are genuinely valued. As a tribute to Eddie Sanders, the family kindly requests that instead of flowers, donations be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
