DuWarn Larue Simpson, 67, passed from this earthly life on January 26, 2021.

He was a lifetime resident of the Akron Community and previously held several City of Akron careers, was  passionate about coaching Pee-Wee Football.   He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army.

He was receded in death by his mother, Ella Mae Simpson, his loving wife of 28 years, Donna Marie Chambers-Simpson, brother, Harold Simpson and father-in-law, Donald Chambers. To cherish his memory he leaves his father, Augustus Simpson; mother-in-law, Trella Chambers; brothers, Gerald Simpson, Kevin (Gwenn) Simpson; daughters, Donttia Chambers, Davielle Chambers, DeJa Simpson, Latoria (Eugene) Weems and Nina; Sons, DuWarn Robinson, Duron (Rashida) Chambers and Delreese Simpson; Future son-in-law, Marcus Rooks; 20 grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.
