Dorothy Thomas, 80, transitioned home to be with the Lord on February 25, 2016. She was born on August 28, 1935 to her parents William and Erenstine Bibbs. She was a member of Church of God in Christ in Barberton, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband, Orise Thomas and her brothers, William and Cleon Bibbs. Dorothy leaves to forever cherish her loving memory, children, Lavern, Dorothy, Ercel, Catherine, James, Sherry,  Issac, Sandra, Rodney, Orise, Leslie, and Kenny; brothers, Charles, Louis and Mack; sisters, Jessica and Cleo; 22 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Homegoing celebration will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Rhoden Memorial Home 1101 Palmetto Ave. Akron, Ohio 44306. Family will recieve friends from 11 a.m. until time of service. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 285 Channelwood Circle #302 Akron, Ohio 44307.
